Welcome to the Equity Employee Time Entry Portal Site.
The On-Line System:
Equity employees use a web-based system, known as Harvest (www.getharvest.com).
The system is very user friendly and is designed to simplify the
reporting process of time/expense reports submitted by our employees; to
simplify and reduce the time and effort required on the part of our
clients in the review and approval of timesheets; and to help our
environment by cutting down on paper consumption.
Standard Procedures for Equity Engineers:
Rather than using paper timesheets, all Equity engineers will be
required to log-in to the Harvest application for time and expense
submittal. For those employees who have expenses, they will continue to
provide a faxed (or scanned/emailed) copy of receipts, as required by
IRS regulations for reimbursements.
Approval Process / Client Interaction:
Once a timesheet has been submitted, an email will be generated
automatically to the client manager, who will be given a link, from
which s/he can easily view and with one click, approve OR decline
approval of a time/expense sheet.
Please note that while you are required to submit supporting receipts
for all expenses to Equity, you may be also be requested to show copies
of receipts to the client manager, prior to expense approval (this is up
to the discretion of each client manager).
Since only the Client manager can approve your timesheet, it is very
important that you keep the Equity office informed of any change in your
reporting structure - we need to make sure each new Client manager is
set up in the system, in order to approve your timesheet.
Once the online approval has been given, you will not need to take any
further action (except for faxing the copies of the receipts for
expenses). Should a manager decline approval, you will be given email
notification and will then have to take corrective action to obtain
approval.
